The service

Wristen records audio on your Apple Watch, transcribes it, and writes notes. It is in development; these terms apply to this website now and to the app once it is released.

Recording other people

Laws about recording conversations differ by place. Some require everyone in the conversation to agree. You are responsible for following the law where you record and for telling people when you record them. Do not use the app to record people secretly.

Subscription

The app is a subscription: $20 per month or $180 per year, billed by Apple through your App Store account. New subscribers get a 3-day free trial. The subscription renews automatically until you cancel it in your Apple account settings at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

Transcription has no hour cap. To keep it fair, speech beyond the daily fast allowance is processed in a slower queue, usually by the next morning.

Accuracy

Transcripts, speaker labels and notes are made automatically and can be wrong. Check anything important against the audio.

Your content

Your recordings, transcripts and notes are yours. You give us permission to store and process them only to provide the service to you.

Ending

You can stop using the app and delete your data at any time. We may suspend accounts used to break the law or to attack the service.

Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.
